Invivogen公司是Zeocin的唯一生产商，Zeocin是Phleomycin D1的商业名称，是从Streptomyces verticillus（轮枝链霉菌）突变株培养肉汤中分离到的一种铜螯合的糖肽抗生素，属于bleomycin（博莱霉素）家族，在细菌、植物细胞和哺乳动物细胞上都能发挥活性。Zeocin最重要的应用是用于筛选携带Sh ble基因的转染细胞。
